Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the U.S. with melanoma being the deadliest form. One-in-50 people will be diagnosed with melanoma during their lifetime translating to approximately 10,000 deaths per year. The Miles for Melanoma Chicago run/walk aims to raise awareness and fund additional research for new and better treatment options through supporting The Melanoma Research Foundation. The MRF is the largest independent, non-profit organization committed to the support of medical research in finding effective treatments, and eventually a cure, for melanoma. Last year, Miles for Melanoma raised nearly $2,000,000 for research, advocacy, and education. Join us this year and help make a difference!
Check-in and Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. Run/Walk begins at 8:30 a.m. The non-timed event is free for runners/walkers. Montrose Harbor, 601 W. Montrose Avenue, Chicago.
