What is Fraxel?
Fraxel Laser Treatment produces thousands of tiny but deep columns of tissue injury by the laser. This “fractional” treatment allows the skin to heal much faster than other treatments because there is normal skin between the wounded areas.

The Fraxel Dual is named as such because there are two different lasers within this device. The 1550nm wavelength and was initially called the Fraxel Restore. This is a deeper penetrating laser which helps treat acne scars, surgical scars, deep and fine wrinkles, and sun damage. The newer added wavelength, 1927nm, helps better address pigmentation, melasma, and other dyspigmentation on the face and other areas of the body.
