How to get started:
Schedule your consultation by calling our office at 312.245.9965 or by completing the form at the bottom of this page.
Once your consultation is scheduled we will provide you with instructions on how to complete your new patient forms. Once you have completed your new patient forms, you will work with our plastic surgery coordinator team to send your photos to our office via text message. Photos should be clear, taken in good lighting and clearly show your area of concern. Please send us clear photos of your front, side and three-quarter views. Please do not send us photos until you have completed your new patient forms, as we want to protect your patient privacy.
Our plastic surgery team will schedule you with Dr. Christopoulos via a telephone or video consultation. During this consultation you should expect Dr. Christopoulos to review your photos and have the discussion if you are a candidate for the procedure of interest. Dr. Christopoulos will explain the surgery details and answer any of your questions. A $500 consult fee will be collected prior to your consultation. This fee will then be applied toward your procedure if scheduled.
Once the consultation is complete, our plastic surgery coordinator will provide you with your financial quote and help pick a date for your procedure. A non-refundable $2,500 surgery deposit is required at time of scheduling your procedure.
After you have scheduled your surgery, our plastic surgery team will send you a packet containing all of your pre/post-operative care instructions. The packet will contain your consent forms for your surgery, PLEASE read all of these document carefully. The consent forms will require you to initial and sign each page. If you have any questions, please email or call us. Our plastic surgery team will review your consents at the time of your pre-operative appointment.
Before moving forward with surgery, we may require blood work and/or a medical clearance letter from your doctor indicating that you are safe to have surgery. If you are having breast surgery and are over the age of 40 you will need to have a mammogram. We will send you all of the details for which labs and tests you need based on your surgery. If medications are required for after surgery we will print the required prescriptions for you and they will be included in your packet with your consents, pre/post-operative care instructions. You may fill these at your local pharmacy or in Chicago upon arrival.
You will need to be seen for your pre-operative appointment prior to your surgery. You should plan on staying for several days to a few weeks after the surgery is completed, depending on the surgery performed. We will give you a better estimate on the exact amount of time you will spend in Chicago based on your surgery. Our plastic surgery team will also give you hotel recommendations once the surgery is scheduled to help you with your travel plans.
