What is ThermiRF?
ThermiTight™ is a non-surgical, minimally invasive alternative for skin tightening. It uses radiofrequency to stimulate collagen production beneath the skin, which improves sagging of loose skin. Other devices in the past also use this radiofrequency energy, such as Thermage, but this is different as the energy is applied under the skin using a sophisticated probe gently moved under the skin throughout the entire area being treated. The area is numbed with an injected anesthetic solution prior to the procedure.
There is an external infrared camera to watch the heat during the procedure to ensure the safety of the skin. Most procedures last less than an hour and are followed up with a gentle wrap. The area is wrapped for 24 hours, post-procedure, to help with recovery. As for downtime after this treatment, you should be able to resume normal activities as early as the second day. This treatment is frequently done on the upper neck/jowl area, but other areas of concerns are also treated such as the arms and abdomen.
