- Can’t I just visit doxy.me to see my provider?
No! You need to call our office at 312-245-9965 to book an appointment to get your telehealth appointment scheduled with one of our providers. They will also provide you instructions on how to use the doxy.me platform for your upcoming appointment.
- So my insurance will cover this visit, right?
Most insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid now cover telemedicine. However, please call our office so we can ensure your specific insurance includes telehealth services, and what copay or balances you can expect to pay based on your plan.
- What if I have a high deductible plan or limited insurance coverage?
You can still set up a live virtual doxy.me appointment and out-of-pocket costs are only $75 for returning patients or $100 for new patients.
- How will I get my prescription if I need one?
Medication can be e-prescribed to your pharmacy. You can also purchase select medication from our Chicago Skin Science store for shipping directly to your door. Please call ahead so we can have it ready for you to pick up in office. You can pay over the phone to decrease contact.
- Is telehealth just for dermatology appointments?
We offer virtual plastic surgery consultations with our double board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Niki Christopoulos, which are complimentary in the month of April! You can also book a virtual cosmetic consult with one of our board-certified dermatologists! Mention you’re interested in setting up a virtual consult when you call our office and our staff will be happy to set that up for you.
